I am 38 work from home Mom of three children ages 13, 10, and 7. I have my hands full let me tell you but I would not have it anyother way! I get up every morning at about 7AM, make coffee (a must), get the kids a good breakfast, get the 13 year-old off to school, come back make lunches, get the other two ready and get get them off to school.
I then go work out for about 30-60 minutes each day but Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. I then come home clean up dishes and lower floor and get to work. I work from home between about 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday. I also work some evenings Tuesadays and Thursdays. I do not work Friday Nights or weekends.
I am able to attend all school functions though my 13 year-old does not want me near her school, haha! I am able to take time for me as needed. I will be going to the hair salon next week and I also tan. My house tends to be messy (not dirty) and that is ok. Something had to give right?
Since I decided to work from home I have paid 60k in debt, bought a headstone for our daughters, and bought our first brand new truck. My husband works outside the home and he likes it I think. He just got laid off and we are fine. He says that he would not trade places with me but I do not think I could ever trade places with him either.
Here is my beautiful family
I love being able to work from home. I bought a lap top a year ago and man was I missing out! Now I take work everywhere with me.
So what kind advice can I give you? Well sometimes working from home can be challenging but know that it is soooo worth it! Getting the motivation you need is important. Check out Dani Johnson! She is awesome! Go to www.danijohnson.com she has a lot of free audios all you have to do is join. You can also check out Ellie Drake at http://www.elliedrake.com/. One of the male motivators I like is Jeffery Combs and go get the Ssecret and The BIBLE!
I hope taking a look into how my day goes inspires you to know that you can e successful and be at home at the same time. I make a full-time income from home. Man, I am very Blessed!
